Strongyloides stercoralis hyper infection in an immunocompetent patient with Extreme Eosinophilia - case report.

We describe an unusual case of S.stercoralis hyper infection in 63-year-old immunocompetent man with extreme eosinophilia. Patient had history of vitamin B deficiency, off and on diarrhea, and clinical pellagra for a decade and a half. Treatment with Ivermectin resulted in clinical improvement and eosinophil count reverted to normal.
